Dr. Tiffany M. Young was born and raised in San Francisco, California. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz. During optometry school, she completed clinical externships at the Braverman Eye Center, in Hallendale Beach, Florida, Veterans Administration Medical Center, in Newington, Connecticut, Neuro-Vision Associates of North Texas, in Plano, Texas, and the Glaucoma and Diabetes Eye Institute at Harper's Point Eye Associates, in Cincinnati. These externships provided extensive training in cataract and Lasik pre and post-operative care, neuro-rehabilitation and ocular disease.
In 2016, Dr. Young earned her doctorate from Western University of the Health Sciences in Pomona, California. She then returned to Cincinnati and completed a residency in primary eye care and ocular disease serving our nation's veterans at the Cincinnati Veterans Administration Medical Center Eye Clinic, where she attained additional experience in low vision examinations, specialty contact lens fitting, and co-management with other healthcare providers. After residency, she gained invaluable experience working in a practice that provided comprehensive eye care to the under-served and special-needs populations.
Dr. Young is a member of the Ohio Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and American Academy of Optometry. She has lectured throughout the state of Ohio and presented case reports at optometric conferences, including the American Academy of Optometry.
